We’re a contemporary start-up with an age-old remedy. Let us take you back to Babushka’s kitchen as she whips up an herbal elixir for the ages. An enchanting fragrance fills the air as she pours us a carefully curated tonic whose healing properties transcend time. Babushka’s timeless approach to herbal healing is the inspiration behind our company. As a millennial family with cultural roots in Russia & Ukraine, we want to share with you what our Babushka (a.k.a. Grandma) shared with us. Each of our products tells a tale of the timeless herbal blend behind its creation. All natural and formulated in California, Baba’s Remedies is as avocado-toast as it gets. I have such sweet memories of childhood. Packing into a minivan and making a 14-hour trek to arrive at the best place ever: Baba’s house. She would walk out in a colorful mirage of floral prints and welcome us with a tight hug and kiss to her sunny home and garden. There was always food on the table, and she was always feeding us to make sure we were never hungry. Around her kitchen table, we would spend hours listening to tales of her journey emigrating from Russia to the United States. She had a cure for everything, and believed herbs were the cure. Between tending to her garden and cooking, she spent time with those she loved. Her passion for food and life continue to inspire us as I share her spirit with my own children each and every day.
